Add the property and service period

A client may have more than one location or several visits in a billing cycle. Include the address and the visit dates or service period covered by this invoice.

Keep routine service and add-ons separate

List mowing and edging separately from cleanup, seasonal work or another approved treatment. Do not add a treatment or product that the client did not authorize.

Match the quantities to completed visits

For recurring service, use the number of completed visits as the quantity when that matches your agreement. For a single visit, keep the quantity at one and describe the completed work.

Lines included in this starting point

  • Mowing and edging
  • Clipping and debris cleanup
  • Approved lawn treatment or add-on

Replace the examples with the work and prices agreed for the actual job.
