How to create an estimate PDF

  1. Enter your client details and list labor and materials separately. Follow the estimate writing guide or choose a profession-specific estimate template.
  2. Set how long your offer is valid and describe what is included or excluded. Valid until is the offer expiry date, not a payment deadline. If the document name is unclear, compare a quote and an estimate.
  3. Review and download the estimate PDF. After approval, convert the estimate to an invoice and check the payment date and terms.
